What areas does your Flag Football program serve?

Chase Sports Flag Football serves families in West Cobb Georgia from Marietta, Kennesaw, Powder Springs, Dallas, Acworth and other surrounding areas.

When and where are the Flag Football games and practices?

Get ready for Friday Night Lights! Chase Sports games will be played on Friday evenings between 5:30-8:30 PM on the brand new fields at Lost Mountain Park near The Avenue West Cobb in Marietta. Younger divisions will start in the earlier times slots.

Practices will be held before games and coaches have the option to offer an additional practice at an agreed upon time during the week. Our mission is to inspire a lifelong love of sports by teaching kids to play hard, play fair, and always chase greatness, on and off the field. While an additional practice isn't mandatory, we encourage coaches to offer one and we encourage players to attend as much as possible.

What are the divisions and age ranges?

Chase Sports currently has 4 Divisions with players ranging from kindergarten through 8th grade: K/1 Rookie, 2/3 Junior, 4/5 Power and 6/7/8 Pro. All Divisions are Coed, except 6-8th Pro is split into Girls Only and Boys Only. We also plan to launch All-Star Teams and Girls Only Divisions in other age groups so please grab some friends and spread the word so we can grow and click on the Coming Soon page to sign up for our All-Star Teams and/or Girls Only interest lists!

Can players “play up” or “play down”?

Our Divisions are based on grade level in the current school year. We do not allow “playing down,” due to safety, however we may allow “playing up” with approval. Please contact us if you have any questions.

Who are the coaches?

Chase Sports team coaches are volunteers, usually parents of players. We're always looking for positive individuals who are looking to help make a difference. No experience is necessary, we provide practice plans, training and all the information you need. Feel free to reach out if you're interested or have any questions.

What seasons do you offer?

We plan to offer Spring, Fall and a short Summer Season. We are also looking into offering summer and school break camps. Sign up for our newsletter so you will be the first to know about all our upcoming events, as well as when registration opens for each season.

What does the registration fee include?

Registration fees include an official Chase Sports jersey (Click here to see our Game Day Drip!), insurance and league fees for 6-8 weeks of games/practices (depending on the season), with playoffs in some divisions. Flag belts and footballs are provided by the league and we use trained and certified officials to referee all games.

How many players are on a team?

We play USA Football's Official USA Flag 5s, so 5 players play at a time. Each team usually has 7-10 players.

How are team rosters formed?

Football is more fun with friends, so we encourage friend and coach requests and we love when people share information about our league with others they think might be interested! Simply add your coach and/or friend requests during registration and we will do our best to accommodate them. We try to match single players with teams that have kids at the same school, same neighborhood, or some kind of connection when possible.

What size footballs do you use?

We use Mini Footballs (Size 5) for our K/1 Division. Pee Wee Footballs (Size 6) for our 2/3 and 4/5 Divisions and Junior Footballs (Size 7) for our 6-8th Division.
